Odyssey Collaborative Trust’s Strategic Plan for 2024 to 2027 sets out our clear ambition for the pupils, families, colleagues and communities we serve. As a family of schools rooted in Derby and the surrounding areas, our strategy is driven by a simple aim: to ensure that every child thrives and every member of staff feels supported, valued and empowered to do their very best.

Our strategy is built around four key priorities.

• We place a strong emphasis on our colleagues, recognising that staff wellbeing, development and professional growth are central to sustained improvement.
• We are committed to strong governance and leadership, ensuring the Trust is well led at every level.
• We maintain robust finance and operations, so that resources are managed effectively, ethically and sustainably.

Running through all four priorities is our commitment to working in civic partnership. We believe that schools are most effective when they are firmly rooted in their local communities and work in close collaboration with others. By building strong relationships with the local authority, educational institutions, charities, cultural organisations and businesses, we strengthen the support available to our pupils and families and contribute positively to the wider community.
