Our Education Team is led by Director of Education, Aimée Tinkler, and supported by our Director of Inclusion and a network of Trust Champions. These colleagues bring specialist expertise and clear areas of responsibility, working across our schools to drive improvement and strengthen provision alongside their school-based roles.
Through collaboration, they share effective practice, lead professional networks and deliver high-quality training. Together, they play a key role in supporting schools, developing staff and ensuring consistently strong outcomes for all pupils across the trust.

Aimee Tinkler
Director of Education
Aimée has extensive experience of school improvement, working with schools across a wide range of contexts and at different stages of their development to secure sustainable improvements in outcomes and provision. She has significant experience of inspection and accountability, supporting schools through Ofsted processes and beyond. Across the trust, Aimée leads the school improvement offer, working closely with leaders to strengthen practice, build capacity and ensure consistently high standards for all pupils.

Abbie Watts
Director of Inclusion
Abbie leads inclusion across the trust, providing strategic direction to ensure that all pupils, including those with additional needs, are fully supported to succeed. She works closely with leaders to develop inclusive practice and strengthen provision across all schools. Abbie supports and develops the trust’s SENDCo team, building capacity and ensuring consistency in high-quality SEND provision. Through collaboration, guidance and training, she plays a key role in shaping the trust’s approach to inclusion and ensuring that it continues to meet the needs of every pupil.

Laura Barrass
Trust Champion, Teaching and Learning
Laura Barrass is Deputy Headteacher at Beaufort Primary School and works across the trust to strengthen teaching and learning through collaboration, professional development and evidence informed practice. She supports schools by sharing effective practice, delivering targeted CPD and contributing to wider school improvement. Laura plays a key role in developing and refining assessment processes, leading trust wide assessment accuracy checks and facilitating moderation to ensure consistency and high standards. Laura has particular expertise in English and evidence informed pedagogy and supports colleagues through coaching and collaborative work.

Adilah Iqbal
Trust Champions, Teaching and Learning
Adilah has over 12 years of experience at Springfield, where she works as a class teacher and leads English, phonics and assessment. She has a strong track record in improving teaching and learning, particularly in literacy. As a Key Stage 2 writing moderator, Adilah supports robust and consistent assessment practices across both the trust and the wider local area. She plays an active role in Trust Assessment Accuracy Checks, valuing the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues from across all schools to strengthen practice and maintain high standards.

Tracey Fletcher
Trust Champion, Attendance
Tracey, who works at Borrow Wood Primary School, leads on attendance across the trust, supporting schools to strengthen systems for monitoring, tracking and improving pupil attendance. She runs the trust attendance network and has played a key role in the development of the Odyssey Attendance Handbook, working alongside leaders to ensure consistent and effective practice across all settings. Tracey supports schools in analysing attendance patterns, addressing barriers and implementing strategies that improve outcomes for pupils. Her work helps ensure a clear, cohesive approach to attendance, enabling all children to access their education regularly and successfully.

Emily Maskell
Trust Champion, Early Years
Emily Maskell (Cherry Tree Hill) is a Trust Champion for Early Years with over 13 years of teaching experience. She works across the trust to strengthen EYFS provision, supporting high quality teaching and learning and developing consistent approaches to assessment. She leads on the development of a trust wide EYFS CPD and moderation offer and works with colleagues to refine practice, ensuring strong foundations for all children. Emily’s work is focused on securing the best possible start for every pupil through high quality early education.

Maria Taylor and Jane Joyce
Trust Champions, Safeguarding
As Trust Safeguarding Champions, Maria (Cherry Tree Hill) and Jane (Springfield) are playing a key role in developing and shaping this area of work across the Trust. They work closely with schools to strengthen safeguarding practice, ensuring a consistent and high-quality approach. Through sharing expertise, supporting clear communication, and working alongside leaders, they help to promote strong, effective safeguarding systems. They are committed to building a clear and coherent safeguarding culture across the Trust, with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration.

Jo Bridges
Trust Champion, Communities
Jo leads on developing our pre-Early Help offer across the Trust, supporting schools to effectively signpost children and families to services across the county. She works closely with the local authority, sits on the strategic safeguarding board, and contributes to the work of the Families First partnership. Based at Beaufort Primary School, Jo is the pastoral lead and a member of the senior leadership team. Through both her school and Trust-wide work, she supports colleagues to strengthen connections with families and ensures that pupils and communities can access the help they need at the right time.

James Wainwright and Paige Ward
Trust Champions, AI and Digital
James (Springfield Primary School) and Paige (Oakwood Junior School) are computing leaders who work together to develop the trust’s approach to digital technology and AI. They support schools in making effective and purposeful use of technology across the curriculum, helping to streamline systems and maximise impact for both staff and pupils. They lead on the trust’s development of AI, exploring how it can be used safely and responsibly to reduce workload, particularly for teachers and leaders, while enhancing teaching and learning. They share emerging practice, provide guidance and ensure schools keep pace with innovation in a way that is practical, relevant and secure.

Pavlina Squires
Trust Champion, Teaching and Learning
Pavlina Squires is Assistant Headteacher and a class teacher at Cherry Tree Hill Primary School. She has over 13 years of experience at Cherry Tree Hill, following three years teaching in London. Pavlina has previously led RE and Maths and now leads Teaching and Learning across the primary phase. She supports colleagues to deliver a coherent and ambitious curriculum and provides training on effective pedagogy. She has a strong interest in evidence informed teaching and values working collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust to strengthen practice and improve outcomes for all pupils.
