Odyssey Collaborative Trust is a family of schools working together across a close geographical area to ensure that every child thrives. We believe that strong schools are built through collaboration, trust and a shared moral purpose, where every child, every colleague and every community matters.

Formed in 2018, our Trust brings together schools that are outward looking, ambitious for their pupils and committed to learning from one another. While each school retains its own identity and strong connection to its local community, we work as one organisation, supporting and challenging each other to provide the very best education for our children.

Our Name and Logo

The name Odyssey Collaborative Trust was chosen carefully and reflects both our purpose and the way we work.

Odyssey refers to a long journey with a clear destination. It represents our commitment to the long term success as a group of schools, with a focus on what matters most for children rather than short term initiatives. From the Trust’s earliest discussions, every single child was counted, reinforcing our belief that every individual matters and that decisions should always be rooted in what is best for pupils.

Collaborative describes how the Trust operates. Collaboration has been central from the outset, with schools sharing good practice, learning from one another and contributing collectively to the direction of the Trust. Leadership is distributed, autonomy is valued, and decisions are informed by those closest to the children and communities we serve.

Our logo reflects these principles. The cogs represent schools and colleagues working together across the Trust, each equally important to its success. The colours reflect the schools within the Trust. Designed by a former pupil, the logo also symbolises the enduring connection between our schools and the children at the heart of everything we do.
